The healing progress seems to be going well. I'll get to see my arm on Monday as they remove the stitches, yet then back into another cast for two more weeks. I'm eager to get things moving, yet taking things slow in order to let things heal.The medical bills are coming in and are grateful that we have insurance. BCBS of Illinois has been phenominal in dealing with everything. Of course, I've been paying $1225/month for our family insurance due to being self employed. On the topic of rates and my complaints of a high premium, the surgery alone without the Dr's fees was over $13,500. Therefore, how could the insurance company charge less? We've sure gotten benefits from our insurance this year. Hopefully, they'll make money on us from here on out.
